What is a Power of Attorney?
A Power of Attorney allows you to appoint a trusted individual to make health care and/or property decisions on your behalf if you become incapacitated or disabled in the future.
What is a Living Will?
A Living Will is more limited in scope than a Power of Attorney for Healthcare. A Living Will authorizes the withholding of medical treatments and procedures that would artificially delay the moment of your death.
Sponsored by the Caregiver Resource Centers of Oak Park and River Forest Townships Senior Services, Township of Stickney and Solutions for Care.
