About ACE

The Action Community Engagement (ACE) Team was developed to investigate the beliefs of older adults who participate in educational group sessions (Principal Investigators De. Becca Levy and Dr. Monika Robinson, Community Leads Marc Blesoff and Pamela Mahn, and Project Managers Julie Bach and Linda Francis). ACE is made possible by a grant from the Smith Tieken Foundation.

Oak Park Arts Distric Display - Last Chance! See This Exhibit Before 2/14/26

The panels on display in Oak Park Arts District were curated and brought to the storefronts by members of the ACE Team research study as a way to heighten awareness of and reduce ageism.

This exhibit was originally conceived by Dr. Stacey Gordon and displayed as part of the New York University's Public Art Program in 2024. Special thanks to local store owners and community members who made this project possible. Original artwork by Aubrey Hirsch. Exhibition design by Pamela Jean Tinnen. For more information on the original display, see the "What About Age?" panel below.
