MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE OAK PARK TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES HELD TUESDAY, September 24, 2024, CONDUCTED IN-PERSON AND ELECTRONICALLY.

The meeting was conducted in-person and electronically. On the call of the roll the following participated in-person: Trustee Davis, Trustee Ade Onayemi, Supervisor Tim Thomas, Trustee Margaret Trybus, Township Attorney, John Garofalo, Township Manager E. Michel, Clerk, DaToya Burtin-Cox, and Cheryl Potts, Director of CMHB.

- Motion to approve consent agenda by Trustee Davis and seconded by Trustee Onayemi. Board voted unanimously to approve

- Supervisor Thomas discussed purchasing half of the table at the scholarship celebration for OPGLA with River Forest Township. The cost would be approximately $175 for half of the table.
- A motion was brought by Supervisor Thomas to purchase half of the table. Trustee Davis seconded the motion. The board for the unanimously to approve.

- The youth engagement program IGA was approved by the village.
- Ten of the 11 governmental bodies participating I have signed the IGA
- The TOI symposium is scheduled for the 11th of October
- The Township manager attended the ILCMA

- Attended the meeting with the youth and Family Services director at the village to discuss the youth and engagement program. A question at the meeting was brought up about whether participants could be charged with Township services.

- Question came up regarding protocol for seniors in tornadoes.
- Suggested that the senior services director look into putting together a pamphlet to provide to the senior community.
- Trustee Davis suggested partnering with the village and the Oak Park Fre Department.

- Made comments regarding involvement with the youth engagement program
- forecasted that the community needed a better understanding of CMHB and YFS Service capabilities

- Attendees inquired as to whether other government bodies can have representatives on the CMHB board Or whether or not CMHB could have a representative on the governmental body boards.

Adjournment
Adjournment of General Meeting at 7:50 pm motioned by Trustee Davis and seconded by Trustee Onayemi. The board voted unanimously to adjourn.
