What is a Power of Attorney?
If you anticipate becoming incapacitated or disabled in the future, you may wish to execute a Power of Attorney. A Power of Attorney would allow you to appoint a trusted individual to make health care and/or property decisions on your behalf.
What is a Living Will?
A Living Will is more limited in scope than a Power of Attorney for Healthcare. A Living Will authorizes the withholding of medical treatments and procedures that would artificially delay the moment of your death.
