Limited In-Person Services Available at 105 Township Building; Facemasks Required
Limited services, including notarizing documents, RTA applications, medical equipment lending, and taxi coupon distribution are available at our 105 S. Oak Park Avenue Township location. In Oak Park, all individuals over the age of two who can medically tolerate a face covering are required to wear one while in Village municipal buildings, which includes Oak Park Township. If you are sick, please stay home and call us at 708-383-8005; we will make every effort to accommodate your needs.

Senior Services Home Delivered Meals and “Take Out” Meal Distribution Fridays in March
Older adults who have requested meals are receiving them in the form of frozen nutritionally balanced meals. We are also providing “take out” lunches to older adults to pick up at our Senior Services building on Friday, March 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in our Senior Services parking lot at 130 S. Oak Park Avenue. We are limiting face-to-face contact with others out of health concerns for everyone. Suggested donation is $1.50 per meal. For detailed guidelines, please call 708-383-8060.

Senior Services Transportation Options
Senior Services Transportation Department has expanded ride routes for Oak Park and River Forest older adults as well as adults 18+ with a disability. Please call 708-383-4806 to reserve a ride throughout the two communities; the suggested donation is $1.00 per passenger per ride. We are limiting capacity to adhere to COVID-19 guidelines and require all passengers to wear a facemask.
Senior Services Center at 130 S. Oak Park Avenue Open to Township Employees
Please call 708-383-8060 to request services from our Senior Services staff. We are limiting visits from the general public as per local guidance. Planning for congregate meals is dependent on guidance from the Illinois Department on Aging and the Public Health Department. We will post updates on our Senior Services webpage. Please see our website calendar for monthly activities. Appointments for our Money Management Program and Adult Protective Services may be set up by calling Senior Services at 708-383-8060.
For Dine Out Coupons, please call 708-383-8060 for an appointment. Coupons are available for a suggested donation of $4.00 each and recipients can get an entrée from a selected menu at two local restaurants.
Village of Oak Park Lifts Face Covering Mandate and Recommends COVID-19 Vaccinations and Boosters for all Eligible Residents ages 5 and over
The Village’s Public Health Department issued an order effective February 28th lifting the community’s requirement for indoor mask and proof of vaccination in public places. Residents are encouraged to get a vaccine wherever is most convenient to them. Updates, including local vaccination clinics, may be found at this link.
