MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE OAK PARK TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES HELD TUESDAY, January 11, 2022, CONDUCTED ELECTRONICALLY.

CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL

Clerk DaToya Burtin-Cox called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. and the meeting was conducted electronically. On the call of the roll the following participated: Supervisor Clarmarie Keenan; Trustees Margaret Trybus, Ade Onayemi, Tim Thomas, Eric Davis; Clerk, DaToya Burtin-Cox; Township Manager, Gavin Morgan, and Township Attorney, John Garofalo. Kelly O’Connor of Youth Services, Pam Mahn of Senior Services, and Cheryl Potts of CMHB also participated in the meeting electronically.

APPROVAL OF CONSENT AGENDA

Trustee M. Trybus moved to approve the Township Bills for the period of December 11, 2021, through December 31, 2021. Trustee A. Onayemi seconded the motion which passed unanimously.

November 16, 2021, and December 21, 2021 Board Meeting minutes were also accepted pursuant to the motion.

 

COVID POLICY

- Current Policy – employees must be fully vaccinated

o Policy silent on Booster requirement

- Manager recommend that new policy adjust the quarantine time comply with the guidance of CDC

- Trustee Thomas inquired about individuals fully vaccinated and recently contracted COVID – Required to get booster if Doctor has not recommended?

o Manager recommend that employee bring documentation from Dr.

- Trustee Trybus recommend that Township policy be general statement that Township will comply with CDC and Oak Park Dept. of Public Health

o Trustee Thomas concur

- Trustee Trybus motions to revise COVID policy to comply with CDC and OP Dept. of Public Health; Trustee Davis second the motion; Board unanimously accepts

Township Manager Update

- Assessor will attend Board mtg after appeals complete to answer questions on the Levy Adjustment policy

- Manager was asked to be part of Community Panel for selection of Village Manager

o Potts indicated that the committee will include focus on mental health

ADJOURNMENT

- Trustee Davis moved to adjourn at 7:45 p.m., Trustee Onayemi seconded the motion which passed unanimously.

 

NEXT MEETING

The next meeting of the Oak Park Township Board of Trustees will be a Regular Board of Trustees Meeting conducted electronically among Board members at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 25 2022 at 7 pm at the Township Office locate at 105 S. Oak Park, Ave, Oak Park, IL.
