2019 Farmers’ Market Senior Citizen Voucher Coupon Program Begins July 22nd

A limited number of coupons for the Oak Park Farmers’ Market are available to suburban Cook County older adults aged 60 and over with a maximum gross monthly income of $1,926.00 for single individuals or $2,607.00 for a household of two – 185% of the 2019 federal poverty income guidelines. Those applying will receive one 5-coupon booklet per person per year worth $25.00. The coupons can be given to vendors at the Farmers’ Market in exchange for fresh fruits and vegetables.
During the summer of 2019 beginning Monday, July 22nd while supplies last, distribution hours will be Monday, July 22nd from 8am-10am, Tuesday, July 23rd from 1pm-3pm, Wednesday, July 24th from 1pm-3pm, Thursday, July 24th from 1pm-3pm, and Friday, July 26th from 12:30pm-2:30pm at our Senior Services Center, 130 S. Oak Park Avenue. This program is made possible by the Illinois Department on Aging. The Oak Park Farmers’ Market is held every Saturday from opening day through October and detailed information including location, special events, and payment options may be found on the Village of Oak Park website here.
