Elected Officials and Board Meetings
Oak Park Township is governed by an independently elected Township Board of Trustees. The Township Board consists of the Township Supervisor and four Trustees, elected at large from the township. The Clerk and Assessor are elected simultaneously with the Board. The Assessor does not vote. The Township Clerk votes only in the case of a tie vote to fill a vacancy in a township office.
The next Board Meeting is scheduled for June 23rd at 7:00 p.m. on the gotomeeting.com platform. The Board will consider the final Fiscal Year 2021 budget following a public hearing. The Board of Trustees of Oak Park Township voted unanimously at the May 12, 2020 meeting to pass the Tentative Budgets and Certificates of Estimated Revenues for Oak Park Township for the Fiscal Year ending March 31, 2021. The Board also affirmed its commitment to minimizing the impact on property taxpayers by taking steps to ensure that the Township receives no more than the Levy the Board passed in December of 2019.
