  • Flu shot providers may be found through Vaccine Finder. Search by zip code through vaccinefinder.org.

The flu shot is covered under Medicare Part B once every flu season at no cost to the beneficiary. Medicare will cover additional flu shots if medically necessary. Consumers enrolled in a managed care plan can also receive a flu shot at no cost as long as they utilize a provider in the network.

Vaccine Finder is a free, online service where users can search for locations that offer vaccinations. They work with partners such as clinics, pharmacies, and health departments to provide accurate and up-to-date information about vaccination services.

You will need to enter the type of vaccine you're is interested in and a zip code. A list of Flu Shot Locations will provide the following information:
    - Name of flu shot location with links to directions
    - Phone number and website
    - Vaccines currently provided at the location
    - Hours
    - If the site accepts insurance or not
    - Whether the site accepts walk-ins or not
