Mailing of Reassessment Notices Opens Appeal Period

Taxpayers Can Get Help With Appeals By Calling The Township

On April 13, 2023, the Cook County Assessor’s office mailed reassessment notices to all Oak Park property owners.  The notices proposed new assessed values that, unless reduced on appeal, will help determine the tax bills of property owners between calendar years 2024 and 2027.  Click here to get more details on the Assessor Services page.

Oak Park Township Announces New Logo, Branding,
and Community Outreach

We are excited to announce the results of our rebranding initiative at Oak Park Township beginning with a new logo that better reflects our organization within the community. Encompassing the characteristics of diversity, connection, and pathways, our new logo celebrates the Township’s broad array of services, residents served, and partnerships.

Oak Park Township Logo

Based on community feedback, opinions from local partner agencies, and Township employees, we worked with consultants from N2 Studios and Jim Bernard Design to help redefine the Township through new visuals and key messages.

Over the years, our supportive services have expanded to meet the needs of our changing community, and our rebranding initiative is the result of our growth. The foundation of our branding will be to reflect our core purpose of strengthening the community through social and supportive services.

Residents will see a variety of new materials and information showcasing our diverse service areas of: Assessor Services, General Assistance, Prevention Services, Resident Services, Senior Services, and Youth and Family Services. Continuing our efforts, we will also be redesigning our website which will be completed and launched in 2022.

Our rebranding project reaffirms our commitment to increase awareness of the Township’s important social and supportive services through community outreach and public education.

Please click here to read the official press release on our branding initiative and follow our social media pages on Facebook and Instagram.
