Thank you IMP.A.C.T!

The Township Board and staff extend a special “Thank You” to the parent creators of the IMP.A.C.T. organization of “Parents and Community Together to reduce youth alcohol & drug use.” For the past 14 years, Oak Park and River Forest taxing units have supported the Township Youth Interventionist team to counter youth substance abuse across all jurisdictions. IMP.A.C.T. has expanded that commitment, activating parents and community leaders to raise parent awareness of their essential role in addressing youth behavior. IMP.A.C.T.

It would be easy to conclude that the declining assessed value will correspond to a decline in property tax bills, but as explained below, this is not the case.
